Who we are

Medicspot is a clinician-led medical weight-management service founded in 2016, and part of the Doctor Care Anywhere Group.

Our programmes combine clinically appropriate prescription medication where suitable, behavioural support, lifestyle guidance, and nutritional advice to help people manage their weight safely and sustainably.

Every Medicspot member is assessed by a clinician before starting treatment and receives personalised support from a dedicated health coach and access to our online community, bringing medical care and human connection together.

How it works: convenient personalised support

Step 1: Tell us about yourself, we're listening.

Complete a short online assessment. Our clinicians will review your assessment and offer you the best options based on your personal preference and health needs.

Step 2: Start your treatment and get support.

Any medications will be delivered to your door in discreet packaging and with easy-to-follow instructions, and you'll receive access your personal support plan: including weekly 1-to-1 online check-ins with a Medicpot Health Coach, and access to our thriving WhatsApp peer-support community.

Step 3: Make sustainable progress.

We guide with information to support behaviour change and essential nutrition advice. We also prepare you for reducing and stopping medication when you are comfortable at a healthy goal weight, and we give you 12 months support* after you finish treatment, as recommended by NICE. (*For members who have been with Medicspot for a minimum of 4 months and who are no longer taking weight loss medication.)

The Independent Pharmacy is our partner pharmacy and prescribing service. All consultations and prescribing is carried out by GPhC registered medical practitioners. All dispensing and shipping of medicines is completed by The Independent Pharmacy, a UK licensed, General Pharmaceutical Council registered Pharmacy.
